Mary was horrified when she received news that she needed to pay or face eviction from the nursing home. Her sorrow began when her health began to deteriorate and she had to rely on her children to care for her. Instead of caring for her, they confined her to a nursing home. Mary’s children also persuaded her to give them authority over her wealth. She agreed, believing they would be beneficial. They would, however, do the reverse. She was enraged.
