In the end, Harding pled guilty to hindering the prosecution, and as a result, the USA Figure Skating Association banned her for life. The whole story was recently made into a movie in 2017 called, I, Tonya. It stars Margot Robbie as Tonya Harding and Caitlin Carver as Nancy Kerrigan

Czech snowboarder Ester Ledecka’s gold medal win is pretty incredible when you consider that he took up skiing for fun and had no intention of beating out the front-runner, Austrian Anna Veith. After borrowing a friend’s skis, Ledecka won gold in the Super-G run during the Winter Olympic Games of 2018. When asked how she did it, she could only reply, “I really don’t know what happened. You tell me … I was riding. I really don’t know what happened. It was great.”
