In Time For Christmas
Angela was able to find a new home for Lee in time for Christmas. Since she was lucky enough to have raised the funds within two months, Lee could be moved in prior to the temperature getting colder and the snow starting to fall. Together with other community members that pitched in to help and her daughter Sarah, Angela anxiously awaited the time when they would give Lee their surprise – his new home.

So, how did Lee react? As you can imagine, he was absolutely taken aback by Angela and the community’s generosity. After having a really tough years, Lee was being extended a helping hand so he could be back on his feet. His new home had electricity, heating, and plumbing. Aside from that, the crew of volunteers ensured the house was stocked with food and clean and felt like home. There was even a Christmas tree!
