Collie

Collies are quite famous because of Lassie, the TV show from the 1950s. Lassie, the Collie in the show, was quite smart and could communicate danger very well, helping a lot of people in various dangerous situations. The show actually did a great job in portraying the characteristics of this breed, showing them to be very intelligent and trainable. They can be a great pet for the whole family and they can play all day without getting tired if they are in perfect physical condition. Collies are motivated and very loyal, too.

Chesapeake Bay Retriever

The “Duck Dog of the Mid Atlantic” or the Chesapeake Bay Retriever is, as you can tell, bred in the United States, specifically in the Chesapeake Bay area. This breed is pretty amazing in a way that they could tell where a bird would fall after it was shot. These dogs can do this because of their intelligence and enhanced senses. They can also become pretty talkative when they’re excited, and at times, may question authority. But they can also be friendly, and you might even see them smile when they bare their teeth!
