German Shepherd

German Shepherds are dogs that we often associate with the police and the military. These dogs are the most ideal breed for the work that is involved in the said departments. They are quite good at precision training, and their ability to focus on one smell is exactly the reason why they are chosen for drug and explosive detection. These guys are well-known for their intellect, which is exactly why they are still bred today. After several training and tests, 90% of the time, German Shepherds have proven to be able to obey the first command that they received. They can easily perform simple tasks after repeating it five times or more. So, it only makes sense that they made it to the top 3 of this list!
