The Great Dane is one of the biggest dog breeds in the world. However, there is more to them than their massive size. They are not just huge, they also have big brains. Meaning, these dogs are very smart. They are also known for being loyal and protective of their owners. One famous example of a Great Dane is no other than Scooby Doo. They are also similar to the Saint Bernards in a way that they can be gentle giants as well. You would expect that a dog of this size would need to do a lot of exercise, but this breed is actually a couch potato, and are named as “the world’s biggest lapdog.” Although they would definitely love the large space in a huge house, they would be just as comfortable in a small apartment space.
