Freddie Mercury
Once Queen was becoming more and more known, Freddie made the decision to legally change his name. He didn’t see his born name as one that was suitable for a rock star. As his first name was already given, his last name was the one that was changed. He decided to choose Mercury as his last name since Mercury was a Roman deity who was a messenger of the gods, and Freddie had an interest in mythology. From the very beginning, Freddie had a feeling Queen won’t be just a normal band.

Excessive Teeth
Freddie Mercury had more teeth than the average person, which contributed to his unique grin. He had four extra teeth at the back of his mouth that pushed his front teeth forward. Despite him being self-conscious about them, he never got them fixed for fear that it would change his voice if he did.
