When Freddie returned from South America, he had the chance to sing with Michael Jackson, aka the King of Pop himself. Even before his music career, Jackson was an inspiration to Freddie, back when Jackson was still in the Jackson 5. The two got along extremely well while at a club, but Jackson’s strange and reclusive behavior was not appealing to Freddie. They attempted to record together, but they were never on the same page or even in the same country to complete the project. Freddie became frustrated and ended up calling for his band-mates to pick him up when Jackson kept coming to the studio with his llama. It’s safe to say that things got a little too weird.

The album with the most significant hits like ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and ‘Love of My Life’ was the most expensive by far. They had to use six different studios to create ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’. In general, the album cost $500,000 to produce at the time – in 1975, that was a ridiculous sum of money. The band finally saw some recognition after the release of ‘A Night at the Opera’. Once the 80s came about, Queen was a famous band. In 1981, they got contacted by South America.
