On November 24th, Fox News broadcasted an interview with van der Sloot. It was in this interview that he said he sold the missing woman into human trafficking. He claimed he received money when she was taken and then given more later on to keep him quiet. Interestingly, van der Sloot also claimed that his own father bribed two officers once they found out Holloway went to Venezuela. It did not take long for van der Sloot to retract the things he said during the interview.

The following day, Joran appeared on television again. This time, he got caught up with the journalist Greta Van Susteren for the talk show titled, “On the Record”. You guessed it right – his story changed yet again! According to him, he sold the missing girl into slavery at the price of $10,000. He even elaborated that he placed her on a boat and kept an eye on her as it sailed off. He reiterated that he was given hush money. Of course, he later confessed that this was another false story.
