The Lifetime Movie Network released a TV film adaptation of the story called Natalee Holloway in April 2009. The source material was Beth Holloway’s book called “Loving Natalee”. Upon the film’s release, 3.2 million people watched a possible version of the events that went down during those days in Aruba.

The family was getting desperate to find out the story behind Natalee’s disappearance. They were not the only people having a hard time with the situation, however. Charles Croes, an Aruban business, said, “They’re killing Aruba. That girl, Natalee, I wish she’d stayed home. I hope she’s found alive there. Because no one would care. No one. The kid is just not worth all this trouble, this heartache. Is Natalee worth it? Is she?”
