Sand Dune Search
The FBI and Aruban officials were working together to solve the mystery of her disappearance. They interviewed and re-interviewed Natalee’s peers who attended the trip in January 2006. In the same month, they combed through the sand dunes again with hopes of finding her body. They looked near the Marriott beach as well as the northwest coach. In March and April of the same year, they searched in different locations as well. Sadly, their efforts did not turn up anything useful.

Dad’s Story
It was also in April 2006 that Natalee’s father David Holloway released his tell-all book titled Aruba: The Tragic Untold Story of Natalee Holloway and Corruption in Paradise. It followed his story as he searched for his daughter and the troubles they faced during the investigation.
