The Royal Netherlands Air Force sent over three F-16 units to help look for the missing girl. Even though they had infrared sensors installed, they did not find anything fruitful. It was not long after this that satellite photos of the area were being compared to aerial photographs. The goal of this endeavor was to see if there were any shifts in the ground as this could lead the searchers to a new grave.

Jug Twitty, referred to as “the gardener”, stepped forward to reveal that a small pond close to the Aruba Racquet Club and the Marriott Hotel beach had been partially drained. According to this man, he noticed Joran van der Sloot trying to cover his face as he drove into the establishment with the Kalpoe brothers sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on May 30. Suspicious, don’t you think?
