After she went through the reintroduction to the forest, Emma started wandering out without Plucas. Emma began exploring nature with renewed confidence thanks to Plucas and all his loving support. However, her exploring became more than tiny adventures.

At times, Emma could be out for hours without coming back. She’d just return before it turned dark. Then one night came when it all changed. Once Emma left, as she did frequently, something was very different this time. Hours and hours passed, with no sight of her. Night came, but Plucas was alone without Emma. This made him worry that the moose got lost or even attacked, or even worse…the hunters found her.
