Clearly, this young calf experienced a traumatic event back in the woods where she was born. Thus, it was going to be very tough to bring her back there. Yet, Plucas was determined to help her readjust to that natural habitat once more. One day soon, she would need to go back. Unsurprisingly, the first few times he took her to the forest, she was petrified.

Slowly and with much guidance, Plucas got Emma to feel comfortable in the forest. He made sure to show her what was safe and what was dangerous. In addition, he helped lead her to food, so she could feel relaxing eating out in the wild. Slowly but surely, she was acting like a wild moose again.
