Did you know that Chris O’Dell first got to know the members of the Beatles when she was an Apple Labels assistant? This is because they were the ones to manage the band’s account. That was how she got her start as a groupie. If you are a fan of the band, you have probably figured out that “O’Dell”, penned by George Harrison, drew inspiration from her. After hanging out with boys, she kept in touch with George and Ringo but found herself spending more time with Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, and the Rolling Stones.

Well, you should probably applaud yourself if you managed to catch the eye of the King of Rock ‘N’ Roll’s eyes himself! So, how exactly did Tura Satana enter the groupie scene? Apparently, Elvis first became interested in her after seeing her dance in Chicago. This marked the beginning of a short-lived romance. She also hit headlines when she turned down his proposal but did not return the ring. If she looks familiar, it might be because she dipped her toes into acting by starring in Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! and The Astro-Zombies in the past. Unfortunately, she died in 2011.
