Jan Koller (6’8”)

With a massive height of 6’8” and weighing 235 pounds, soccer star Jan Koller is another very tall person (one of the tallest) in sporting history. It comes as quite a surprise in the sport of soccer since it generally takes smaller, lighter and more agile players to run around the field really fast. His sheer height and weight would make people think that it would be difficult for him to succeed in the sport but he has actually played for some of the biggest names in soccer, including clubs like Monaco and Czech Republic. He played for 8 clubs all in all, across 5 countries, prior to retiring back in 2011 but he started his career in 1995, which means he was in the game for 16 years! In his time playing, Koller scored an impressive 55 goals and even though he started in the goalkeeper position, he eventually made it to the striker position.
