He used his Twitter fan base to ask followers if they could looks for his dog Gina who ran away on Halloween. After thousands of retweets, they found Gina. Biggs was overcome with emotion, tweeting, “Could NOT have done it without you guys. An amazing woman picked her up in the street, and you guys ended up forwarding the message 2 her.”

Facebook Helps Man Recover Lost Photos From 20 Years Prior

If you thought Facebook was only good for reuniting family members, think again. Noel Douglas lost a sentimental photo album 20 years ago. Then, a man named Oli Langsley who lived only ten minutes from Douglas, found it and posted on something hilarious on Facebook. He wrote asking people to find the ‘dude’ in the pictures and the post found its way to other sites like Crystal Palace forum where someone recognized Douglas, who believes he lost it while moving and putting his stuff into storage. It took 24 hours for Douglas’ daughter to see the appeals and reach out to the neighbor and get the album returned to her father who felt, a “bit more wholesome now”.
