How sweet is this picture of a young boy reading to a cat? It went viral after being posted on Reddit, in order to raise awareness about a unique program. At the Animal Rescue League of Berks County in Pennsylvania, they run a program called ‘Book Buddies’ where kids read aloud to cats to practice their own reading skills.

Mom Surprises Son With 60,000 Friends
When a mom of a disabled boy name Colin wanted her son to have a great birthday, she took to Facebook. She wanted to cheer him up and reassure him that people care for his 11th birthday party. Just a week and a half after her post, there were 60,000 people on Facebook ready to celebrate him. Then just weeks later, Good Morning America threw a surprise part for him in NYC’s Times Square. Before they knew it, ‘Colin’s Friends’ Facebook page had over 2.1 million fans.
