Day 3 at Woodstock was just as incredible as the previous days. One of the performers on that day was Tim Hardin, though his performance is not often talked about. Hardin is a folk artist who had one big hit titled, “If I Were a Carpenter”. Fans loved it when he performed his song onstage. They loved it as much as they did when they heard it on the radio!

The property on which the festival took place belonged to a farmer called Max Yasgur. In reality, Woodstock moved him to tears. He was widely quoted as stating, “If we join them, we can turn those adversities that are the problems of America today into a hope for a brighter and more peaceful future.” Woodstock nearly didn’t happen because the organizers didn’t have a location, but this guy rescued the festival by making it happen!
