Soccer Champ Alex Morgan
It is hard to believe that Alex Morgan was only 22 years old when, as a part of team USA, she won a silver medal at the FIFA World Cup. Incredibly, this means she was the youngest player on 2011’s national team. However, her big moment came the next year, in 2012, when she scored the winning goal against Canada in the London Olympic Games. That means she wrapped up the year with 28 goals and an amazing 21 assists. Not bad at all! That means that along with soccer champ Mia Hamm, Morgan is one of only two American women to score more than 20 goals and have more than 20 assists in one single calendar year.

She is represented by big name brands like Nike, AT&T, McDonald’s, and Coca-Cola, just to name a few. All these endorsements represent money in the bank, which is why it is no surprise that Time Magazine ranked her as the highest paid American female soccer player in 2015. Ka-ching!
