Johann Sebastian Bach was born in the year 1685. He went on to become one of the most accomplished musicians in world history. He was a superb composer who began his career as an organ prodigy, where he received widespread acclaim. He made his mark on history, though, by writing music for the church and dedicating it to his mother. Many will tell you that just a few composers have achieved the sort of success he has.

What Bach Really Looked Like
Dr. Caroline Wilkinson created a duplicate of Bach’s piece using a skull cast. This legendary composer has been laid to rest in an unknown cemetery for a long time! It wasn’t until a century and a half later that his body was uncovered during repairs to the church where he was buried. In the vicinity, they uncovered a skull that was thought to be his. They used this to replicate his likeness, as seen in the image below.
