She replied to the elderly couple before walking away from them, “Sorry, but I can’t serve you. And I’m afraid I have to disagree with what you said.” Nevertheless, she did not just abandon it and actually asked her manager if the table could instead be assigned to some other member of the staff. But situations were about to get tangled even further.

“Suck It Up Or Go Home”
Her manager flatly refused, telling her essentially that she must “suck it up or go home.” Brittany discovered that she could not keep serving the table with clients who had such awful viewpoints on a human being, not even taking into account attempting to make one of her regular customers feel really uncomfortable. So she grabbed her bag and barged through the door. But the consequences of her behavior were just about to unfold.
