The pair were deep in conversation and generally ignorant that Brittany was waiting at another table next to them. Brittany’s ears were twitching, and she was paying attention to their discussion. When she did hear what they were saying, she was in complete shock. How can they do such a thing to a person they didn’t even know?

As Brittany walked to them to start accepting their request, they went to ask her what she did think of the other “client.” If she assumed it was as horrible and disgusting as they obviously did, Brittany was asked, having to ask why anywhere near the diner would be allowed someone like that. Their old faces were loaded with nothing more than disagreeable judgment.
