Brittany dismissed her first observations. With her charming personality, she assumed she also might cheer them up. And yet, she had no clue how completely wrong she was. She approached them and chose to offer the menus as well. When she started handing them menu items, there has not been a hello back. The lady wrinkled her nose as if she smelled something disgusting.

She backed away, and that she could see the couple laughing hysterically at another customer on the edge of the restaurant when she turned around. A frequent and also very friendly customer was the focus of their bile.
