It was also their dream to return to Honduras. Not only was it his hometown, but they were already familiar with the community. These were the reasons they took a mission hosted by the Presbyterian Church of America. Around the same time, Aaron and Rachel paid a visit to an adoption agency!

After their visit, they felt even more determined to adopt a child. When they found out that non-Caucasian kids got adopted less, they decided to do something about it by adopting them. “We did this with the deeply held conviction that if the Lord wanted us to have a fully Caucasian child my wife would conceive naturally,” Aaron said.
