Koji Kitao Versus The System

Former (disgraced) sumo wrestler Koji Kitao joined WWE to help promote the sport in Japan. Kitao’s first match was with Earthquake, quite a successful sumo who became a professional wrestler. Kitao was ashamed to fight Earthquake because his rank was higher when they were still doing sumo wrestling. Once the fight began, Kitao went off-script and the two fighters circled each other and had a stare down. Kitao gave the referee a kick, took the microphone, and said that wrestling is fake. He walked out of the arena and never returned.

Nailz Versus Vince McMahon

Before the 1992 SummerSlam, Nailz determined that he was paid too little for the said event and decided to confront his boss, Vince McMahon, on live TV. He muscled his way to McMahon’s office and started to choke his boss. Once he was pulled off from McMahon, Nailz was fired right away. In later years, Nailz attempted to settle the score in court. McMahon found himself on trial for a steroid offense when Nailz was called in to testify. Since he was very angry, Nailz was unable to put together coherent ideas, and his poor testimony actually helped McMahon get acquitted.
