Reba was about to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame when Clark McEntire, her father, fell into a coma following a stroke. We are sure the musician was heartbroken when he died on October 23, 2014. Luckily, Dolly Parton inducted her into the Hall of Fame in lieu of the grieving artist.

Reba made the music video Just Like Them Horses as a homage to her deceased father. She even shot it on the family property in Chockie, Oklahoma. Remembering him, Reba said, “He ran all the way to heaven. Just like them horses.” According to her, she did not have a bigger fan than her own father.
