It went on to become one of her top-selling studio albums with more than four million copies sold. Two of the songs in the album topped the Billboard music charts, while the album reached No. 3.

Audience members gasped audibly when she climbed onto the stage. During an interview, she recounted how her father did not hesitate to give his opinion about the outfit by asking her if there was a mistake and she was wearing it backward! The legendary red dress can be found on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
