House of Cards ended up becoming a big hit, though the producers decided it was time to wrap up the story after season six. The show received its fair share of controversy when Kevin Spacey was accused of sexual assault. This is the reason why you won’t see the actor in the final season. We’re sure it wasn’t easy for the crew to steer the plot towards a new direction, though Netflix Content Chief Ted Sarandos said, “We are excited to bring closure to fans.”

A lot of fans were disappointed when Netflix announced it was pulling the plug on Sense8. That might actually be an understatement as so many people protested the cancellation order that the Netflix executives ultimately decided to renew it! Nope, they didn’t decide to bring it back for good, though they did release an extended final episode. This was their way of giving fans the closure that they needed. Apparently, the show’s creator was touched by the reception and posted this on Twitter: “Your love has brought Sense8 back to life. (I could kiss every single one of you!)”.
