Thanks to the injury she received at work, Nadya suffered emotional distress in addition to physical pain. The money she was granted as compensation certainly made things a lot easier, though there was another pressing matter in her life. They stuck to the instructions they were given, but they still could not conceive for some reason. Their failure was hard on Nadya and she started to lose hope, ultimately suffering from depression. At long last, however, they learned the unfortunate truth. Apparently, they were not doing anything wrong per se – Marcos Gutierrez was simply sterile.
