Things might not come easy for Natalie Suleman and the whole family, but they are happy nonetheless. Natalie continues to teach them good values. On Christmas day, she only gives each kid one gift. She informed US Weekly, “I’m focusing on raising the kids to focus on serving other people, to get out of their own head.” With this tactic, she believes she is teaching them the lesson of valuing the little things in life. She is also a firm believer that it teaches her children to work for the things they want and avoid expecting gifts. Apart from these, her finances limit the lifestyle they lead. This is the reason she prefers a simple holiday celebration. Nonetheless, she considers herself to be blessed since the kids are all extraordinary in their own right.

We bet that there is nothing more stressful for Natalie than the time the first week of school arrives. It is already stressful enough to take care of one or two kids, so fourteen must be a nightmare. The 43-year-old California mother has talked about her anxiety online when she posted a photo of the octuplets right before they went back to school. The children were all smiling and had packs on their backs. The caption read, “Any other parents exceptionally stressed and overwhelmed by the first week back to school?” She has also shown her sense of humor when she dubbed herself the “official bus driver” considering the number of kids she brings to and from school. It is a lot of work that might occupy the entire day. Natalie said that the older children did not like posing for first day photos despite her pleas. Well, we are glad she managed to get this milestone on camera anyway!
