No Social Life
As the mother of fourteen kids, Natalie Suleman is much happier. She enjoys life by spending a lot of time with her youngest children. We are talking about none other than the octuplets: Isaiah, Jeremiah, Jonah, Josiah, Makai, Maliyah, Noah, and Nariya. Natalie has mentioned that she hopes her kids will be proud of her and who she has become. She does not want them to think of her as “Octomom”. During the interview with Daily Mail, she said, “I was forced into doing things I didn’t want to do because I was so terrified I couldn’t support them and give them the life they deserved.”
Natalie Suleman has now achieved happiness, even though there are still challenges when it comes to raising so many kids. Aside from the octuplets, she does not neglect the older kids as well: Elijah, Amerah, Joshua, Aiden, Calyssa, and Caleb. She has described this group as the “omnivores” of the family. In her desire to give the kids a stable life, Natalie decided to move back to Laguna, Orange County where she grew up.
A Normal Family
Natalie Suleman is completely focused on her children, and she has basically given up her other relationships. The good thing is that this lets her maintain a close relationship with every child. She said, “They fight, play, fight and play again like any normal family.” She has also said that some of the kids take after her in the sense that they are shy and prefer to keep to themselves. Meanwhile, some of them are very friendly. There is also Aiden, who has autism. It is nice to hear that the others look after him. As a matter of fact, he and Makai are very close. The fourteen children are aware that their family situation is vastly different from that of the regular American home. Natalie has made sure to show them that being different is not bad, that it is okay. She has more life lessons in store for the kids as well.
