During the 18-month investigation conducted by T.D. Ward, he spoke to John Ludwick, Joran van der Soot’s friend. According to Ludwick, he got paid around $1,500 to dig her remains and then cremate her with dog bones in 2010.

Ludwick also disclosed that he helped Joran burn Natalee’s skull in some cave. The tape caught him saying, “The idea was to crush everything to the point where it wasn’t recognizable as her bones or skull or anything like that.”
