In March 2016, reporters from RadarOnline visited Joran in the Peruvian Prison where he is serving time. They were accompanied by a hidden camera and it caught him saying, “I always lied to the police, I never told the truth. I made up so many stories against the police… Also when I was younger, I never told everything. The police just never knew what they had to ask me.”

One reporter wanted to know if Joran was talking about what happened to Natalee Holloway. Jordan only replied, “Yes, this is also where I am guilty and I accept everything that I have done.” It is important to note that he did not actually admit to killing her, however. He also clarified about the death of Stephany Flores and explained that he had been acting under the influence of cocaine instead of emotional trauma.
