Robert was actually the target of a vicious mountain lion that was nearby. “It must have been stalking the little bear, but it was on me in seconds,” said Robert. What was meant to be a great hike turned into something a lot more dangerous.

As he was turning to continue the journey, the fierce mountain lion tackled him! Robert told The Paradise Post that it jumped onto his backpack. Its sharp claws began to dig and Robert had to wrestle with the wild animal for his survival.
