Her Olympic Dreams
She continued to hone her skills, but there was another obstacle coming her way. Serious athletes back then had their eyes set on the 2012 Olympics. As the London Olympic Games approached, she felt even more motivated her to work as hard as possible. After some time, it was time for the qualifying round. She performed but nearly made the mark, although she ultimately missed the opportunity to represent the United States. Even though she had cleared 14 feet in the past, luck had not been on her side during the qualifying round. Her Olympic dreams did not come true, but there were more opportunities for her.
A Natural Model
In 2015, Stokke made the decision to leave behind her pole vault career to work as a model. This was not new to her since she also did this in high school on a part-time basis. At last, she responded to the various brands that wanted to work with her. Later that year, she already appeared in the spring and summer collections of Nike! Aside from that, she also worked with a sports brand known as Athleta.
