Her College Days
After the unnecessary and unwanted attention that she got, she could not wait to escape the limelight when she started college. Thanks to her athleticism, she earned a full ride to UC Berkeley. It let her remain close to her friends and family in California, so it was ideal. She decided to avoid the spotlight as much as possible. Some people even wondered if she had disappeared altogether! She hardly posted on social media as well. This gave her the opportunity to keep a low-profile, if only for a couple of years.

Stokke worked hard to avoid the press and the media. Instead, she focused on her education and career as an athlete. Thanks to her determination, she did great at both things. It is not surprising since she did well in high school too. By the end of her college career at Cal, she held a master’s degree in sociology and had new track records to her name. She always finished in the top ten in her competitions as well.
