An Accomplished Senior
When she was in her senior year, things got even busier for her! She did not only have to work hard at her studies, but she had a rigorous training schedule as well. We are glad that she kept persevering since she knew that it was worth it. Slowly but surely, she was turning into a pole vaulter recognized across the nation. Stokke won one medal after another as she joined the leagues. Aside from that, she broke her own record once more in the same year. She was able to clear an incredible 13 feet and 6 inches!

It looked like everything was going well for her at the time. In 2007, however, something happened after a person took a photo of the athlete at a pole vault event. At the time, she had only been 17 years old. It showed her waiting for her turn. The photo eventually appeared on the internet, reposted by a blog known as “With Leather.” Its content often involved young women, while the clientele is all male. As you can imagine, this turned out to be a recipe for disaster. The netizens just could not get enough of her…
