She had a modest upbringing, but she knew that it was time for a change once she graduated from high school. Ihrke decided to move close to the city by enrolling at St. Cloud University. When she was a student there, she pursued a degree in marketing. Like her peers, she wanted to earn some money to keep herself afloat. She took on two jobs to make ends meet, but the pay barely covered her bills.

It is tough to be a full-time student with one job, let alone two. What makes it even tougher is when you feel like you are not going anywhere with your work. “[My] manager at the clothing store where I was working had a law degree…. it was the recession – and I thought if she has a law degree and is working at a clothing store, there aren’t going to be any jobs for me when I graduate college,” she shared with Fox News. However, there was another option that she could take. Once someone challenged her, she knew that this was the right path for her to take.
