Joan Rivers did a show the night before she had her surgery. Rivers made a joke on stage, “I could go at any moment. I could lay here and go over… and it would be in the papers and you all could look at each other and say I was there the night Joan Rivers passed.” She died due to complications after a surgical procedure and her daughter claimed that “doctors performed unauthorized medical procedures, snapped a selfie with the comedian, and failed to act as her vital signs deteriorated.”

Her songs have been part of different movies and sung by many. She was partying the night before she died; this was the last photograph a few hours before her demise. Her death happened during the pre-Grammy Awards shindig thrown annually by the music manager, Clive Davis, her mentor. She was found dead in a bathtub at a Beverly Hills hotel. There were many speculations on her death, but it was ruled as an accidental drowning, heart disease, and cocaine use. There were other substances found on her bloodstream.
