The Hobbit
It’s so hard to imagine how these movies were created from start to finish, especially since the majority of them were made inside studios. For instance, The Hobbit, as you can see, wasn’t filmed in nature like some would believe. While we didn’t think they were really filming on mountains, it is surprising this entire scene was filmed indoors in front of a green screen.

Twilight: New Moon
Let’s be honest, none of us thought there was a real (giant) wolf on the set of New Moon. However, it is extremely impressive how the animators accomplished this feat. Taylor Lautner – the actor playing the werewolf – had to wear a suit that had a similar purpose to a green screen. This allowed the animators to make the CGI more accurate in terms of characteristics of the actor.
