Only One Oscar Nomination
Despite the success of the film and the star power of the cast, only one actor received an Oscar nomination. John Cassavetes was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, but he lost to George Kennedy in Cool Hand Luke. Regardless, we could all agree that the film is amazing!
