Noodles & Company

Noodles & Company was established in 1995 and was quite profitable during their initial years. However, their income started to decline within the years after. It was noted that in the 2000s, many people were simply not interested in Noodles & Company. That was not all, in 2016, the restaurant had a data breach that included the information of their customers across the country. The security breach cost Noodles & Company $11 million. Because of this, they needed to close 10% of their restaurants in 2018.

Joe’s Crab Shack

Joe’s Crab Shack was always known as a casual seafood spot that specializes in massive buckets of crab, stuffed shrimp, and loads of other comfort food dishes. Joe’s Crab Shack was absolutely idolized, but it seems as though they had a huge competition with other seafood restaurants like Bubba Gump that made customers dine elsewhere. The company had to declare bankruptcy in 2017 which directed them to shutting down 41 branches. It is predicted that by the end of the year more stores will be closing, but do not fear there are still 58 branches operating at present.
