Mountain Valley Spring Water
There aren’t too many bubbles in Mountain Valley Spring Water, and the water has a refreshing taste. It’s also worth noting that the naturally ionized water, which has a pH range of 7.3 to 7.7, is excellent at balancing out highly acidic foods, making this a great choice for washing down a meal. The term “alkaline” refers to the pH level of water, which is measured in parts per million (ppm). The pH level of a substance is measured on a scale from 0 to 14, with a higher pH level indicating that the substance is more alkaline. Normal drinking water has a pH of 7, whereas alkaline water has a pH of 8 or 9, which is slightly higher than neutral drinking water.
San Pellegrino
San Pellegrino is a favorite of mine, and I highly recommend it. It is owned by Nestlé, the same company that appears to control nearly all of the bottled water on the planet, but it is a unique brand of water. Water sourced from the foothills of the Italian Alps, this is a mineral water. This means that the mineral flavor comes entirely from natural sources, such as limestone and volcanic rocks, and is therefore completely authentic. That’s right, they don’t even have to add those mineral salts like calcium and magnesium that other companies require. The water is then perked up with a little CO2 before being shipped all over the world to give it that distinctive taste.
