Essentia Ionized Water
Essentia is an “overachieving H20” company — hey, those are their words, not mine — and, like many overachievers, Essentia makes a lot of claims about its products. This “supercharged” alkaline water has had the bitter-tasting acidic ions removed, and according to the manufacturer, it is impossible to obtain a precise reading of its pH levels of 9.5 or higher without using a specific testing method. The water is crisp and clean tasting, and it’s refreshing, but Essentia is attempting to be something more than it is right now. Although they claim it will change your life, I’m not convinced this is the case.
Core Hydration
Whether you’re recovering from a tough workout or simply want something refreshing to drink, Core Hydration is the bottled water for you. Sure, they added a tiny hint of flavor to the water with electrolytes and minerals added after reverse osmosis, but the majority of it is crisp, tasteless water. When it comes to sharing water with a friend or your dog, some people think the “cup cap” is a great idea… but then you have to put it back on the bottle after they’ve finished drinking it, which isn’t so great.
