Acqua Panna
In the same way that San Pellegrino is fancy Italian water that comes from a natural water source, Acqua Panna is another fancy Italian water that comes from a natural water source — but this time, it’s natural spring water. As a result of its source spring, this smooth, noncarbonated water tastes clean and has a slight minerality to it that complements the taste of the water. During the 16th century, the powerful Medici family owned Acqua Panna, which was a private residence. They had it fenced off to keep everyone else out, so they could use it as their own personal drinking water source for the time being.
Boxed Water
Despite the fact that this water does not technically come in a bottle, it is included on the list of bottled waters nonetheless. When you first start drinking water from a cardboard carton like it’s milk, you might think it’s strange, but once you get over that initial hump, Boxed Water is refreshing and clean. It’s just municipal water, but they purify it through an eight-step process that includes reverse osmosis, carbon filtration, ultraviolet light, and ozonation, among other things. The absence of plastic is the main attraction here. Packaging made of plant-based materials accounts for 92 percent of the total, with 5 percent aluminum and 3 percent plastic film.
