Dane De La Rosa (6’7”)
One of the greatest professional baseball players of this generation, Dane De La Rosa has been drafted to different impressive teams including the Yankees, the Tampa Bay Rays, and the Angels. He’s currently playing in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball after giving retirement a try since he realized that he wasn’t totally ready to give up his gloves yet. He is 6’7” tall and weighs 245 pounds and despite the fact he didn’t play in the major league, his baseball career in the minor league has been pretty impressive and he has a 4.24 overall ERA. He plans to continue playing for a while since he is only 35 years old, not so old compared to some players, and his best playing years may even have yet to come!
Jon Rauch (6’11”)
Few baseball players have an impressive height but Jon Rauch is among them, being unusually tall at 6’11’ and weighing a heavy 290 pounds. Originally from Louisville, he’s the tallest player in the history of the major league and used to be a right-hand reliever for 11 years. He was part of the US baseball team who won a gold medal in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and in the same year, he also won the Baseball America Minor League Player of the Year award. This means that he has incredible size and some impressive stats in his repertoire, so it’s no wonder he has played for a lot of teams and many more continue to seek him.
