Remove Mildew
No one likes dealing with mildew in the bathroom and it’s one of the toughest things to clean once and for all. As a matter of fact, it’s almost impossible to keep it gone for good as it typically comes back after a while. It makes sense seeing as the bathroom is the perfect breeding ground with the humidity. Anyway, to get rid of it, all you need is regular old bleach and cotton wool. Soak the cotton in the bleach and place it on all the molded areas. Leave it overnight and then rinse it all off.
Prevent Rust
Another annoying thing that tends to be found in the bathroom is rust stains. Again, it makes total sense, what with metal mixed with water and wet surfaces. However, it’s a difficult thing to get rid of. One excellent way to prevent rust is with just one common item: clear nail polish. Before putting anything metallic away, first swipe a little clear nail polish over the area that will be contacting a wet surface. Just coat the bottom of any aluminum products and you’ll be golden.
