Get Rid Of Hard Water Stains
Since lemons contain citric acid, they help break down tough grime. When you’re in an area with hard water, it’s likely you deal with hard water stains on any metal surfaces in your bathroom and kitchen. Cleaning them can be seriously challenging, but there is a way: lemon. Cut a lemon in half and rub it all over the surface you want to clean. Rinse it off and you’re done! If you don’t have lemons around, lemon juice works too.
Deep Clean The Showerhead
Another area there can be a lot of buildup of grime and bacteria is the showerhead. You don’t have to run and buy a new showerhead when the one you have gets dirty. Add white vinegar and lemon juice to a Ziploc sandwich bag and place the showerhead inside it. If you have a lot of buildup on the showerhead, feel free to add a spoonful of baking soda, too. Secure it with a rubber band or hair tie and let it sit for half an hour to an hour. When you remove it, the showerhead will be as clean as ever and the water will flow better too.
