Special Protocol
A collection of regulations that govern the social elements that are prohibited is referred to as the Ordnung. Everything under the Ordnung regulations is regulated, from apparel to technology to educational institutions. Command and discipline are terms that have been derived from a German word. Unlike other religious groups, the Amish do not have a centralized church government; instead, each assembly is autonomous and governs itself.
Local Autonomy
Given the lack of a structured religious authority, each church is allowed to interpret and implement the Ordnung in its own way. Taking advantage of this ability, each Amish community can establish its own set of laws. Other cultures have stricter regulations than others, and some cultures are more permissive than others.
